Hello all, I'm a small scale miner based out of the United States. Late last week I placed an order with Bitmain for a few S9s, which is something I've done a handful of times in the past. Usually I'd pay in Bitcoin, but decided to wire the money this time, on account of the crazy run that Bitcoin has been having. For some reason Western Union (which is who my bank uses for Wire transfers) is holding up the transaction until a answer a few questions. Specifically they wanted to know 1) what was the transfer for, 2) if it's for personal or business use, and 3) is the purchase related to bitcoin. Um... what? So I don't wire money all that frequently, but is it common for Western Union to make it their business who you send money to and for what reason? Hell, if I wanted to send cash to some Nigerian prince, what gives them the right to stop me? Curious if this is a known/common issue that people have seen, and what, if anything, I may be able to do about it. Thanks! Frank
